BIG NEWS!

 Several years ago we had a dream to purchase land so that we could expand our efforts to have a greater impact in our community. One of Dovick’s dreams for the kids was to have a bigger school and more space, doing these things creates more stability and safety in the lives of all of those helped by CSEDI. We began a process that  would test and strengthen our faith. Once we owned the land that the house is on it afforded us the opportunity to expand the home so that all of the children had more space, their own beds and a family room. At the same time work was being done in the back of the house to have a safe, clean cooking area, a space where all of the kids could eat meals together as well as much needed bathrooms. With over 30 people in the home extra showers are always needed. During that process we were also working on purchasing the land beside our home for the school. Raising the large amount we needed would take quite a while, there were times when it seemed to go slow but God had a plan. With the help of another group and all of our generous givers God made a way for us to purchase that land earlier this year. We were all so excited. Once we knew we had the money for the land Dovick began making plans for what the school would look like, how many rooms, etc. We once again knew we had an enormous amount of money to raise and we weren’t sure what that would look like during a pandemic  but we knew that God was blessing this project. Friends, we are beyond thrilled to tell you all of the money to build a new school has already been donated. We can not wait to see a plan we had in our dreams get started. We are praying for the many lives that will be changed by this new school. With this new school we know we will have lots of new opportunities and expenses. We are so thankful for the many givers we currently have who made all of this possible. We can not wait to see who else will come along side us to have a greater impact in Haiti.
